"Kobe and Judd" (detail)

Title: Kobe and Judd - Medium: watercolour, gouache, and graphite on 300 lb (640 gr) paper - Size: approx 20 x 28 in (50 x 70 cm) - Note: This painting was commissioned with only the simple request to do a work which featured the two children in the family. Knowing that the family lived on the shores of a lake, I decided on doing a painting which depicted the boys relationship to the water and nature. The two birds with the nest full of hearts symbolizes the deep love these parents have for their sons.
